Touring Car Review 2019 Book Release

The Touring Car 2019 Review from GTR Publishing is due for release on May 6th 2020. The limited print 104 page book contains 218 colour photographs and is available in A4 size in paperback and hardback format.

The book features a 30 page race by race review of the 2019 British Touring Car Championship, a 46 page driver by driver summary, a 14 page in depth report on the combined Touring Car Trophy and TCR UK season and a six page overview of the TOCA support package.

It is the perfect souvenir publication for fans of Touring Car Racing and is intended to be the first of what will become a yearly tradition.

The pricing for the book (which is available only in the UK) is £15 for paperback or £30 for Hardback.

The book was initially earmarked for release in March prior to the start of the 2020 BTCC season but with author Mick Palmer being sidelined for a while with symptoms in line with Covid 19 this highly detailed edition will be available for a limited time from April.

About the author.

Mick Palmer is a former motor racing manufacturing engineer who has worked at all levels of the sport from Formula One to Club Racing in composites, CNC and metal forming roles. After exiting racing to write for the Retro Racer historical racing journal he took up NCTJ diploma training and gained a first class honours degree in Sports Journalism at Sunderland University. He extensively studied and produced numerous essays on Motor Racing in the magazine industry before raising the finances to launch Motor Racing UK magazine where he works as both a journalist and photographer.
